Meet our Kiwees

Hawkes Bay

Brent Dustow

Since 2014, we’ve been proudly fueling Kiwis in Hawkes Bay – our patch stretches from Wairoa in the north, State Highway 5 to Taupo and south to Dannevirke.

After driving for 7 years with the previous owner, in 2021 Brent stepped up to the helm with his wife Nicki. Together with our dedicated team including 2IC Lee, and four operators, we run three trucks – an 8-wheeler, 6-wheeler and 4-wheeler, servicing all kinds of customers, from the Port of Napier to forestry and home heat customers. No job is too big or too small – all customers matter equally.

Our passion is delivering our customer’s fuel needs in a safe and friendly way for both our customers and our
drivers.

Manawatu

James Benton

Since 2014, we’ve been delivering fuel from Manawatu to Horowhenua, Whanganui, Rangitikei right through to Tararua.

We have three trucks on the road, four team members and the perfect “office” as the team get to be outdoors finding fuel
solutions for our Kiwi customers.

Reliability is a key part of our service that we pride ourselves on. Our patch is geographically spaced out, so knowing our customers’ needs, the contractor rush hour, and any time restrictions for deliveries help us to keep our customers moving. Clear communication is key. We also love our region so getting to be a part of its growth is great too.

Whatever your fuel needs, we’ll work with you to deliver.

Wellington

Paul Brown

Since the early 2000s, we’ve been delivering fuel from Wellington to Manakau and east towards Masterton.

We deliver to Kiwi businesses involved in a range of industries, from roading projects to forestry sites, airports and wharfs – customer service is at the heart of it all.

No job is too big or small - we’ll always help you find solutions to your refueling challenges.

Auckland North / Warkworth

Martin Van Wyk

Martin stepped into the hotseat managing Mini-Tankers for the Auckland North and Warkworth region in 2017 – a patch that stretches from north Auckland, through Helensville, Whangaparaoa, and all the way up to Kaiwaka.

With five trucks, and five operators, our team covers developments, roading projects, forestry, boats and buses, and anything else that runs on diesel.

Whatever your diesel needs, we’ve got you sorted.

Waikato

Mark Hutana

Since launching in 2018, we have a team of four, and we’re still growing. Recently, we’ve taken great pride in fueling three of the four Waikato Expressway projects.

Our team enjoy getting to know our customers, having a laugh while also delivering a top-quality service.

In short, we’re down to earth Kiwis who will work on all your fuel projects (big or small).

Auckland Central / West

Raewyn Le Quesne and Michael Cossey

You can find us all over Auckland, from the airport to Long Bay, or Waitakere to Glendowie.

We’ve been running Mini-Tankers since 2006 and have six trucks and seven team members.

We’re like a well-oiled machine - success for us is when our driver arrives onsite, refuels and is off again before the customer notices us – in and out.

Our area of expertise is airside deliveries and bunkering.

Because we are out on the road, best to call us directly to chat about your needs.

Bay of Plenty

Scott Sowman

Our team of 11 trucks and 13 team members (and growing) supports a large area from the sunny Bay of Plenty, through to the Central Plateau.

Every day is different and that’s the joy of the job. We’re involved in everything from port operations to civil works or forestry.  Our priority is putting our customers first – working with them to meet their fuel needs.

We’re a great team – we’re down to earth, solutions-focused and we build resilience in everything we do.

Gisborne

Carl Brouwer

Our team call Tairāwhiti home. Since 2019, we’ve been providing fuel from Raupunga to Gisborne, East Cape, Te Kaha and everywhere in between.

We know our communities and pride ourselves on outstanding customer service, so we’re always there to help Kiwis with their fuel requirements – all while working with the unique East Coast logistical challenges!

Northland

James Beazley

We’ve been fueling Kiwis in Northland since the early 2010s. Some say 7 is a lucky number, so we consider ourselves lucky too - with a team of seven people and six trucks and a spare.

We love providing customers with a friendly and reliable service that they can depend on. We know how stressful it can be without fuel when you’re in need, so we’ll work hard to get you sorted.

Nelson Tasman

Julian Crocker

Our refueling team covers Marlborough, Nelson, Tasman and all the way to Westport.

We’ve been part of the Mini-Tankers team since 2008 and have three trucks and drivers and an operations superstar!

We love seeing projects completed and keeping Kiwi homes warm. No two days are the same, so we could be heading offroad to support incredible roading infrastructure projects one day and fueling ships and yachts at the port and marina the next.

We pride ourselves on being reliable and making things happen for our customers.

Christchurch

Roddy Wood

Our team cover Hanmer to Ashburton and everything in between. We’ve been running the Mini-Tankers team since 2014 and have four trucks, six drivers and a great 2IC.

We’re a top team, who are efficient and always put the safety of Kiwis first.

Our passion is solving our customer’s fueling needs, so we’ll deliver to wherever we can go safely!

Central Otago

Jamie Carran

Our team cover a large part of Otago.

We love keeping Kiwis moving and helping them with whatever their refueling needs are.

Putting in the hard work, but also enjoying what we do is important to us. Reach out if we can support with your refueling needs.

Dunedin

Brent Goodsir

Since 2011, we’ve covered deliveries from Dunedin, Mosgiel to Milton. We have two tankers and believe in solving our customer’s refueling challenges, even in those out-of-the-way locations.

Our customers have become our mates, so we’ll work together to help with all their fuel needs.

We’re committed to providing a reliable and effective service to Kiwis as we know the importance of fuel to keep you, and your business, running.

Invercargill

Rachel Gerrard

We’ve been working with the Mini-Tankers team across Southland since the early 2000s.

We enjoy keeping Kiwis warm, especially over the winter season, and pride ourselves on our customers who rely on us to heat their home or business.

There’s no better feeling than seeing a customer’s delight when we arrive to fill up, especially in Southland’s more remote locations.

Everyday is different, so you might see us out at Milford Sounds, on the Riverton Wharf, at Bluff or in your neighbour’s driveway.

We’re here to help solve your problem, finding solutions to your fueling needs.

Auckland East / South

Greg Hale

Our team has been providing onsite refueling since the early 2000s.  With seven trucks and a team of eight, we cover South and East Auckland, through to Thames and Paeroa, across to Ohinewai and up through Glen Murray and Waiuku.

We’re passionate about providing great customer service and believe communication is key.

We make deliveries from a single refill through to large earthworks sites with over 40 machines. Town or country, we can organise your deliveries.
