ON-BOARD COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
Mini Tankers is in the business of providing a high quality fuel management
service for our customers. Mini Tankers uses a combination of tools
to achieve this, including a mixture of:
- Professional Franchisees and Drivers
- Quality Tankers, Pumps, Electronics and Computer systems
Information captured at the time of delivery has to be reported back to
customers in a format that readily identifies individual equipment allowing
closer monitoring of equipment running costs.
Mini Tankers has for the last 2-3 years been using an on-board computer
system to capture the information from the electronic fuel pump register.
Features and Benefits of the on-board computer system:
- Detailed documentation at time of delivery – our delivery dockets
contain all of the following information:
- Docket Number (that appears on your Invoice from Mini Fuels)
- Date and Time of Delivery
- Driver Name
- Your Mini Fuels customer number and name
- The delivery location
- Your purchase order number (if supplied/required)
- Details of non-diesel product (ie. lubricants, paints, grease guns
etc) supplied
- Details of quantity of diesel fuel supplied into each equipment filled,
- The total amount of diesel fuel supplied.
- The system can also generate a Cash Sale Invoice for our cash-sale
customers showing the cents per litre, quantity of fuel supplied
and GST details.
- Secured Fuel Metering system – the fuel meter is calibrated
annually in accordance with the Weights and Measures Act 1987 and its
amendments. The last date of calibration is stamped on the fuel meter
head.
- Vehicle Management - Mini Tankers utilises the Navman GPS (Global Positioning
System) technology to aid in efficient vehicle utilisation and vehicle
performance. Details captured in Navman include:
- Vehicle Location / Speed
- Vehicle Movement History (up to 6 months
of vehicle history is available to our Franchisees)
